I am running for City Council to prioritize Atlanta community members and small businesses by empowering grassroots initiatives, along with bringing my professional community designer and entrepreneur’s perspective into policy making.
As my work with Virginia Highland District shows, creating a foundation of communication and support enhances the success of all corners of the community. Each small business is a resident chasing a dream, and I am ready to improve access to the tools needed to achieve those dreams.
District 6 needs new & fresh ideas, plus the political will, to get these things done. Are you with me?
I promise to fund these action items as your next Representative for City Council District 6.
- Advocate for Complete Streets across Atlanta.
- Expand access to PAD initiatives with funding for operations to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Support community policing with funding to local security units that utilize local off-duty cops and awareness campaigns.
- Work with nonprofits like Atlanta Housing Justice League and Beltline Rail Now to expedite the growth of our housing and transportation supply evenly across Atlanta.
- Create a task force to support Atlanta renters with clear communication of resources and rights.
- Allot funding for Civic & Business Association's to pay basic administration fees, host a quarterly town hall in various areas of my district, and streamline processes of implementation of existing master plans.
- Expand grant programming and resources to public art and artists throughout my district.
- Support and collaborate with nonprofits like Intown Collaborative Ministries and Free99Fridge to support our houseless neighbors.
My mission to mobilize my community to expedite timelines with responsiveness and clear communication. I believe that when you know more, you can do more! Are you with me?
